Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates
Jeffrey S. Evans (VAR 555) is the former president and senior auctioneer of Green Valley Auctions, Inc. (1979-2008) and the head of Green Valley’s specialty/catalogued auction division (1995-2008).
While he was still a senior in high school Jeffrey became sole owner of Green Valley Auctions, which had been founded in 1967 by his parents Leighton and Kathryn Evans.
Effective January 1, 2009, after thirty years of ownership, Jeff and wife/co-owner Beverley Evans withdrew their catalogued auction division from Green Valley Auctions and launched their new company, Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates, Inc.
From their state-of-the-art auction gallery, built in 2009 within walking distance of the old location, Jeff, Beverley, and their expert staff conduct quality catalogued auctions of Americana and fine antiques. Read our 2009 Press Release.
The company logo is inspired by the decoration found on the circa 1800 Shenandoah Valley of Virginia hanging cupboard that brought the highest bid price in the history of Jeff Evans’ catalogued auctions.
Gallery Information & Hours
Our state-of-the-art auction gallery, newly constructed in 2009, is a climate-controlled, handicap-accessible, non-smoking facility with free WiFi Internet access available during preview and auction days.
Our standard (non-auction) office hours are Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm USA Eastern Time (EST). The majority of our auctions are conducted on Saturdays, but auction dates/hours vary so please be sure to check our current auctions tab for specific preview and auction dates/times, or join our e-mail list to receive notifications of our upcoming auctions and events.
Sandwiches and beverages are available for purchase form Cosmic Smoke-N-BBQ LLC from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm ET on Friday and Saturday auction days.
