EAPG Timed Auction

September 19 – 26, 2022
Featuring the goblet collection of the Bennington Museum, Bennington, VT – deaccessioned to benefit the museum's Collections Acquisition Fund – these pieces do not support the museum’s regional mission and are being sold as part of the museum’s effort to refine and improve its collections; part two of the 5,000+ piece collection of the Minnesota Museum of American Pattern Glass, comprising the most comprehensive survey of stain-decorated EAPG ever assembled; private collections including Terry Eggesiecker of Staunton, IL and Joan L. Kaiser of Sandwich, MA; plus others. The auction will go live beginning September 19 and conclude with a soft closing on September 26 beginning at 6:00pm ET. All bidding will be through the JSEALive bidding platform only.
Soft closing with auto-extend feature
The published auction “closing” time is the time bidding closes on the first lot. Subsequent lots will close every sixty seconds. Each lot displays a countdown clock showing its closing time. This staggering of end times allows for more comfortable bidding on multiple lots in the same auction. To prevent last second sniping, any lot that receives a bid within sixty seconds of closing will have its timer reset adding another sixty seconds to its closing time. Please note that the extension of one lot’s closing time does not affect the closing times of subsequent lots.
